Zidanes Walsall VS Yeovil TEAM NEWS

Last updated : 01 December 2005 By Andy Van Hagen
Both teams enter the game knowing they are potentially only 90 mins away from securing a game against the big boys. Given the appitite this week by seeing Doncaster beat Aston Villa both teams will want to put themselves on a similar stage and securing a money spinning tie in the process.

Walsall Team News

Walsall will be without thier no.1 goalkeeper Andy Oakes who is still out for at least 3 weeks with his wrist injury. On loan keeper Joe Murphy has been refused permission from Sunderland to play in the game. Young Rene Gilmartin will again step in.

Captain Chris Westwood is still doubtful and experienced Mark Kinsella will again miss out. Mark Kinsella scored a wonderful goal in Walsall's 2-1 win over Merthyr Tydfil. Loan sensation Eric Skora will miss out as Preston ruled against him becoming cup-tied. Skora was due to be replaced by Michael Standing but he aggrevated his hamstring in training so has again joined the injured list. Midfielders Darren Wrack, Paul Merson and Mark Wraight are still long term absentees. Darren Wrack of course sustained his injury in the league match against Yeovil earlier this season.

New signing James Constable will miss the game as he is serving a suspension and is cup-tied. He impressed in the midweek reserves win over Sheffield United. Anthony Gerrard and Daryll Taylor also impressed and will be challenging for a place in the starting line up. It is also expected that Kris Taylor will be in the 16 after missing out on Saturday.

Yeovil team news

Yeovil have been boosted by the news they have persuded West Ham to allow Chris Cohen to play dispite him only being on loan. They also have Andy Lindgaard available again after he returned from his loan spell at Crawley Town. Lindgaard made the bench last week against Oldham but may feature on Saturday.

Darren Way and Liam Fontaine will both definately miss the clash while there is a doubt whether Colin Miles will be recovered from his injury in time. Apart from that Yeovil have a fully fit squad.
