Zidanes MK Dons preview

Walsall were by all accounts very lucky to escape with a draw when these two played at Bescot Stadium this season. Thanks to a 94th minute equaliser from Julian Bennett we were spared another home defeat. We didnt really deserve anything that day, but they say football evens itself out over the course of the season!

Walsall Team News

Walsall arfe reporting Mark Kinsella as doubtful for the game, which is a shame because last week was one of his best games in a Walsall Shirt. He allowed Skora to concentrate on more of a creative role, if indeed Kinsella does miss the game then expect Kris Taylor to come in. Simon Osborn is still struggling with hamstring problems so that option is not open to us.

Craig Pead will be serving the last game of his suspension so Westwood is likely to remain at right back where he looked comfortable at against Gillingham. Joe Murphy will continue in goal as Andy Oakes is still recovbering from his hand operation.

Steve Staunton is likely to remain on the bench as Roper and Bennett will continue their partnership at the back. Joining him on the bench could be Daryll Taylor, the youngster has been out since March since picking up a injury while out on loan with Hereford. It must be said that this may be unlikely as he has only had a 45 minute run out in a behind closed doors game.

Also out of course are long term absentees Darren Wrack, Paul Merson and Mark Wright.

MK Dons Team news

Mk Dons main injury worry is ex Walsall striker Clive Platt. They have other doubts over Gary Smith and On loan defender Mark Ricketts. Expect an unchanged side from last week if these players win their fitness battles.

Danger Man

Izale McLeod is always a danger. Signed from Derby in the summer 2004 the striker scored 16 goals in his first season and has 7 from 14 games so far this season. he is rumoured to be attracting attension from Glenn Hoddles Wolves. Always looks like he could score, we must watch him closely tomorrow.

Tickets

Its not a all ticket game so tickets can be purchased at the turn styles. Priced at £15 Adults, £10 students and OAP's, £8 Unders 16s and FREE for under 7s. Remember there is NO cover over the stand so wrap up warm and dry as we are open to the elements!!

Parking

MK Dons is one of the better stadiums to travel to in terms of parking. There is a large pay and display which is easy to get out of after the game. Last year little traffic was encountered and it was lovely!!

Prediction

A betting man would go for a draw here, taking into account the Dons record this season. Especially at home. They have won 2 drawn 6 lost 1 at the National Hockey stadium this season. Me however will go for a 2-1 Walsall win. With Matty grabbing a goal and maybe Kris Taylor.
