The striker played 45 mins of yesterdays 1-0 reserve victory over Sheffield United but the club have since agreed to the loan proposal. It seems likely Tai will be also be agreeable to the move because he will stand a better chance of getting first team football. Since his new year return he has been restricted to 1 start and 1 substitute appearance.
Darlington are chasing a play-off place and currently occupy 10th place in League Two. Manager David Hodgson has targeted six more wins to achieve this.
