Wrack on road to recovery from Yeovil Injury

Last updated : 21 October 2005 By Andy Van Hagen
Darren Wrack who suffered a fractured left fibula and torn ankle ligaments in the 2-1 away loss at Yeovil, is now out of plaster and is about to start the early stages of rehabillitaion we are happy to report. The first fears were that Darren may never play football again, however luckily the injury does not seem to be career threatening. After recieving news it would recover, a April/May target date was set for recovery but Darren is now hopeful of returning in Jan/Feb. This may be unrealistic, only time will tell but at least he is remaining positive and cannot wait to get back into action.

The player that Walsall signed to fill Wracks left sided position - Simon Gillett has had to return to Southampton injured so if Wrack could return this season around Jan/Feb this would be fantastic news.

We wish Darren well in the recovery process
