Walsall v Tranmere

Last updated : 09 August 2010 By BBC Sport

Walsall boss Chris Hutchings is looking to bolster his team after selling Troy Deeney, but is unlikely to push any deals through in time for this match. He has a fully-fit squad at his disposal after his side came through their opening match unscathed.

Tranmere boss Les Parry must decide whether or not to play Ian Thomas-Moore, as the Rovers board will discuss his transfer request on Tuesday.

Defender Marlon Broomes remains on the sidelines with a knee injury.

Tranmere striker Enoch Showunmi told BBC Radio Merseyside: "You look forward to the later rounds, and if we get through against Walsall, we can have the cup as a distraction from the league.

"We looked to get off to a good start against [Oldham] and it was a disappointing defeat.

"I've been in teams that have lost the first game and have gone on to do well, so hopefully that is something that can happen for us."
