The Evening Mail have reported Walsall have offered Romulus midfielder Ryan Williams will the opportunity to earn his chance to follow old boys Zat Knight and Darius Vassell into the professional ranks.

Sixteen-year-old Williams played in a trial game for Walsall in midweek and has been invited to spend the rest of the season training with the Saddlers, however on match day he will still be able to play for Romulus. Already he has represented the first team and will look to get more first team appearances under his belt while training with Walsall.
