Last season started badly for Tony, after coming off the bench in the season opener against Notts County he was shown the red card. This enforced him to sit out the next three matches before returning to first team action against Bournemouth in the League Cup. From there he went on to feature in 36 games (32 starts), he recorded a fine return of 11 goals for Torquay last season, which is a great achievement because they only narrowly avoided the drop.
