Turner on Walsall victory

After seeing his side lose 1-0 to league leaders Walsall, Hereford manager Graham Turner had the following to write on his club's website www.herefordunited.co.uk:

"It was a tale of two headers, one where their keeper's made a fantastic save from Tim Sills, and their header that went in.

There weren't many chances, it's as we thought - they're a very difficult side to play against, very well organised. We knew that at the moment what their doing grinding out results, and we knew that they'd be a threat from set pieces and that's why its doubly disappointing to have conceded one from a set play.

They're a decent ,well organised side and there were very few chances in the game. We didn't play particularly well but we worked hard. Perhaps the difference was that little bit of quality. Perhaps we can come off feeling a little bit sorry for ourselves but we've lost it, for all our work we've lost the game.

Stuart Fleetwood missed his second game in a row through illness, but firstly and Tim Sills was withdrawn after suffering a blow to the head. He's got stitches on the side of his head, so he should be OK for Tuesday. Stuart's lost nearly a stone in weight in a short space of time, it's a viral infection and I think it'll be 7-10 days before he starts to put that weight back on. We missed his pace today, there's no doubt about that we missed his mobility, but sometimes you have to put up with that and we haven't done that today.
