Trinidad and Tobago could force pair to miss Chester

Clayton Ince and Hector Sam have found themselves in the centre of a club-versus-country dispute.

Ince withdrew his availability for the up-coming Trinidad and Tobago friendlies against Panama and Nicaragua. He has been struggling with injury over the past few weeks and while playing through the pain barrier for Walsall he wishes to stay with the club to regain full fitness. Now Trinidad and Tobago are threatening to approach FIFA who will be able to force his release for the two friendlies.

Walsall have also withdrawn striker Hector Sam from the Soca Warriors' squad because of ankle injury. Again, T 'and' T are trying to force Sam's release.

Walsall's club doctor, Dr. R. Rogers, was employed by Trinidad and Tobago during the World Cup and he could have a part to play in Walsall securing the availability of the two players.

Should FIFA be involved the two players will miss our visit to Chester on Friday night.
