The timing of the decision might make it easier to make judgements on who it may be. A few points of consideration -
* It could be an out of work manager?
* It could be a coach from a Championship club NOT involved in the play offs?
* It is unlikely to be a manager presently in employment at a League One or Two club. This would rule out Ian Atkins.
At this point a return for Chris Nicholl might be the best bet but Bonser has a track record of picking the outsider. Maybe Colin Lee?
