The results? Quite a shock!
According to the Football League the loudest fans in the Championship, League One and League Two are .............. COLCHESTER UNITED!! They recorded a 128.3 decibel welcome when Colchester and Derby walked out onto the pitch at Layer Road.
The Nationwide top ten was as follows:

9 - Stockport County (Coca-Cola League 2)
10 - Plymouth Argyle (Coca-Cola Championship)

So although Walsall did not come anywhere near the awards, look at who came second in League Two category - Rochdale! The game they had recorded was against ourselves. Now lets think about this. The attendance that day was 3,218. Their fans were unevenly spread across the whole ground and as a result were very quiet. Walsall however contributed 987 to that number and were all in one half of a single stand and were VERY loud. So should it read
