As reported on Walsall MAD Taiwo Ateino travelled up to Darlington for a trial game yesterday. We can reveal that he impressed during the game and scored what has been described to me as 'a cracker of a goal'.
The trial game result was Darlington Reserves 2 Lincon City Reserves 1. Recent Darlington signing Ian Graham scored the other goal for the Quakers.
Tai came off after 45 minutes because of a thigh strain but in the half he played he did enough to be invited back for a second trial.
