Swansea put top-scorer on transfer list

Last updated : 16 October 2006 By Andy Van Hagen
Tuesday's opponents Swansea City have put top-scorer Leon Knight up for sale.

The 24 year old striker was omitted from the squad that beat Chesterfield 3-2 on Saturday, with the rumour being that he had breached discipline rules.

Manager Kenny Jackett insisted that the decision was a purely tactical one, but he has now transfer listed Knight, saying he has not worked hard enough.

Knight joined The Swans in a £125,000 deal from Brighton in January and has scored 20 in 37 games, seven this season.
