The Daily Mail have scoured the football world for comment on the great 'Slave' debate and have asked the opinion of Paul Taylor's son Mark.

It's ridiculous branding long deals as slavery when you consider the salaries most players are paid and the contracts that both parties have agreed on.

Sepp Blatter has compared football with businesses in other walks of life but football is a unique industry in terms of how players move about and the different situations that arise.

Ronaldo is a strange example because he is one year into a five year deal. He knew what he was agreeing.

It's hard to understand how his ambitions have changed while playing one season for the biggest club in the world and winning the title and Champions League in the process.
