Stourbridge have been given the go-ahead for the historic FA Cup clash with Walsall to take place at their War Memorial Ground. This will be the first time Stourbridge have played a first round proper game and the home tie was under threat for crowd and security reasons; but a Tuesday meeting has ensured all issues have been resolved and Stourbridge can enjoy their moment.

The first round tie will take place on Saturday November 7 with an earlier than usual 1pm kick-off, so the floodlights do not have to be used.

A statement released by the club said: "Following talks with the appropriate authorities this afternoon Stourbrigde FC have been granted permission to stage their F A Cup First Round Proper tie with Walsall at the War Memorial Athletic Ground."
