Stourbridge FA Cup star leaves

FA CupAs Walsall focus on the 2nd Round of the FA Cup, there is news of our first round opponents Stourbridge.  Their star, ex-Manchester United youngster Sean Evans who caught the eye during their FA Cup run, has has left the the Glassboys for Telford

It ends speculation over the winger's future and he joins AFC Telford on a free transfer.  Evans was not on a contract at Stourbridge but his new club however have promised to play a friendly at his former War Memorial Ground home during the summer.

Following the FA Cup 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Saddlers, Evans did join Grimsby on trial however with a change of manager nothing formal was offered so he decided to move up to Conference North level.
