Sour Grapes from Accrington manager

Last updated : 09 July 2009 By Andy Van Hagen
After missing out on the signing of Northampton Captain Mark Hughes, Accrington Stanley's manager said it had come down to money.

Coleman told the Lancashire Telegraph: "They (Walsall) were able to offer him a better deal, so that's life.

However it is worth pointing out to Mr.Coleman that Walsall are League One compared to his League Two side who we play in the Carling Cup in August.

Coleman also states Hughes was about to sign for Crewe ... another side in League Two.
