Sonko on trial

Twenty seven year old Edrissa Sonko is today playing for Walsall in our freindly at Worcester City. The Gambian international is comfortable both in midfield or up front and has scored 7 times in 14 appearances for his nation.

Currently a free agent, he spent last season at Skoda Xanthi Athletic Club in Greece. Previously he has had a spell at RSC Anderlecht where he played 7 times between 1999 and 2000.  He left to join Roda JC in 2000 and played 112 times for the Dutch side.
