Six figure sum heads our way

The Premier League have announced details about £90 million giveaway set be distributed within Football League over the next three seasons.

The Championship will consume the lions share of these payments with clubs receiving between £1.7 million to £775,000.

As a League One club, Walsall will receive £103,480 while League Two clubs will get £68,987 each.

Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore said: "The Premier League and our member clubs recognise the importance of the continued health of the professional game at all levels.

"This solidarity payment means that Football League clubs will have the ability to increase investment in critical areas such as youth development and community programmes."
