Seeded Saddlers

Last updated : 15 June 2009 By Andy Van Hagen
The Carling Cup draw is Tuesday morning and Walsall are among the Northern 16 seeds.

This means we are more than likely to draw a League Two side with 13 of the 16 hailing from the bottom tier of league football. Carlisle, Hartlepool and Stockport are the exceptions to this.

With Stockport being Walsall's league local derby this season, the cup throws open the possibilities of Notts County and Port Vale.
