Sadlad's MK Dons preview

So here we are then, the last away day of a disappointing season. Martin O'Connor has said leading up to this game that Walsall could upset Milton Keynes Dons promotion push and get a result. Anything is possible of course but on this occassion highly improbable.

The Dons are in third spot, four points behind Peterborough but with a game in hand and will really be going for a vital win and the way they attacked Walsall in their 3-0 win at Bescot earlier in the season surely means we will be up against it.MKD have won 12 and drawn 4 games at home with a healthy goals record of for 42. Ex-Saddler Mark Wright will be looking to put one over his former club just as he did here.

The game may be pretty meaningless for Saddlers but its a new stadium to visit, a chance to relax and enjoy the fancy dress, have a drink with friends and hope for better things next season.

Stadium :mk presently has a 22,000 capacity that cost around £50 million to build and was designed by the same architects who were responsible for the Emirates and Wembley stadiums. When further seating is complete it will accomodate 30,000 spectators.

Its location is a bit out of the way with very little in the way of pubs or eating places nearby. The only pub within walking distance is the Breacon about 10 minutes away.

Those who can't make it and want to see a game this weekend don't forget the Boldmere v.Walsall All Stars on Sunday at Boldmere FC 2 pm ko.
