Sadlad's away day preview - Swindon Town

Last updated : 26 January 2009 By Andy Van Hagen
We head for Swindon for our first away game under our new management team of Chris Hutchings and Martin O' Connor desperate to secure a win to get our season going again.

Swindon are surely there for the taking. They are
just a point above the danger zone and The Robins have only managed three wins in the league at the
County Ground all season.

Progress has been slow under Danny Wilson since his appointment but friend of WalsallMAD Lazaat tells me its going to be a long job to get rid of the dead wood and rebuild from the shambles caused
by Maurice Malpas.

Again Walsall are blighted by injuries leading up to this game but Saturday saw the return to the side for ex- Swindon winger Sofiene Zaaboub out on
the left and I hope to see him tormenting his old pals.

I am looking forward to going to a Walsall midweek away game-my first in ages-but the Walsall away support will be nowhere near that day in May 2007 where the large away following helped Swindon record their highest gate their since it became a modern all seater stadium-14,731.Not a lot has gone right for both clubs since that fantastic day.

I expect Walsall to secure a narrow win this time
around-sorry Lazaat!
