Sadlad's Away Day Preview - Millwall

Last updated : 04 April 2009 By Andy Van Hagen
A trip to The New Den becons and The Saddlers face a tough game
against The Lions who are third in the table mainly due to their fine
away form which has seen them win their last six on their travels.
Their recent home form has been iffy in contrast in which they have
won one, drawn one but lost four of their last six games at The New
Den.Tuesday saw Millwall lose by a single goal to Colchester in
their latest home setback. They will be looking to bounce back on
Saturday but there is a doubt about striker Gary Alexander who
suffered a nasty facial injury in which he had seven stitches inserted
in his mouth as some of his teeth went right through his bottom lip.
It will be interesting to see what changes Chris Hutchings will make
for this game following his side's poor performance against Cheltenham
last Saturday.Michael Ricketts is available following his five game
suspension and could figure in his plans but is bound to be rusty.
He did play a part in the reserve game in midweek. Clayton Ince
and Mark Bradley are available following international call ups.
Games at Millwall are always perceived as intimidating for away fans
but I have enjoyed the atmosphere at both the old run down Den and
their current New Den.WalsallMAD's DJay and our dear friend Lion1
are meeting up for a pre-match drink and I am hoping to join them!
