Altough alot of talk has been about the need for centre backs, centre midfielders and strikers. The Walsall MAD readers said it is actually the full back slots that need strengthening.

Richard Money has cast his eye over a few trialists during pre-season to look for potential recruits. Walsall fans agree, we must sign full backs. Not surprising since Walsall do not have a specialist right-back at the club. Chris Westwood and Craig Pead are expected to compete for the slot over the course of the season, but are listed as a centre defender and midfielder.

On the left side, last season's regular left back Daniel Fox has been playing left wing in pre-season friendlies. Allowing midfielder Kris Taylor to show his abilities as a left back.

With one week to go before the season kicks off. Signings must be made.
