Palmer has shown the ability to play at both right back and left back providing cover for two positions were short in numbers last season. The left back berth this season is less of a concern with youngsters Sansara and Bachus showing they are able to fill the void when Paul Boertin is injured however Rhys Weston had previously been the only right back at the club.
