Saddlers head for the Valleys!!!

The FA cup draw saw Walsall given an away tie at Merthyr Tydfil.  Merthyr play in the Southern Division Premier league (The same league as Halesowen to give you an idea of the standard).  They currently lie in 8th place, but this cup run means they have games in hand apleanty.

I must admit i instantly thought of Slough when i heard that we were paired with non-league opposition.  Make no doub, Merthyr will show tremendous fight on the pitch, they will be 100% commited.  Im sure Dean Coleman and Jonny Harkness will be asked to get a dossier off the Halesowen team to prepare for the game.  Merso reckons it will be a SKY TV game.  I tend to agree as it has Banana skin all over it!!!

Merthyr is in the south Wales valleys so they will go all out to get one over the English.  Could the draw of been any trickier!?
