Saddlers go walking!

Manager Richard Money decided to let the team take the 20 minute walk from their hotel to Sincil Bank this afternoon. Designed to loosen the team up, it was thought this would provide the ideal preparation for the game.

Come the first half it seemed the Walsall team were still on their walk. Two goals scored in similar times to Dean Keates double against Stockport saw Walsall trail 2-0 at half time. The first goal came as Adie Moses fed in Scott Kerr, who found the net from 20 yards on 11 mins.

Eleven minutes later ex-Saddler Jamie Forrester's left wing cross assisted Lee Frecklington with a headed goal.

At the Second half re-start Dick Dosh took Mark Wright and Mark Kinsella off and he has replaced them with new signing Carlos Fangueiro and Craig Pead.
