Wrack is known to be attracting interest from ex-Walsall player Lee Sinnott, who now manages Port Vale.
Vale, relegated to League Two are expected to go through a massive re-building job over the summer and Wrack is seen as a player who would offer much needed experience to their attack.
On Wrack's release the player told the Express and Star, "I'm shocked to be honest, but not really surprised".
