Mr Curson started refereeing in 1985 and was promoted onto the national list of assistant referees in 1996 and then to the referees list in 2000. He was a fourth official at the FA Vase final in 2003. Brian was the referee in last seasons LDV Vans Trophy Final between Southend United and Wrexham.
