Referee Vs Blackpool

The referee will be Steve Dorr from Worcestershire. He will be assisted by Carl Dunn from Staffordshire and Jim Hubbard from Leicestershire. The fourth official will be Andy Hendfrom the West Midlands.

The recent performances from the officials at Bescot have been terrible. It would be great to leave a match and praise a referee. By recent performances this looks unlikely ever to happen again!

I happen to agree with Alan Curbishley who said referees should talk to the press after games to justify their decisions. This way fans will understand a little of the logic behind the seemingly bizzare decisions referees make.

Referees have a very hard job to do but being banned from talking after the game then fans will never understand. Time for the FA act rather than concentrating their time on pointless schemes.
