Walsall v Barnsley

Referee : R J BEEBY (Northants)

Assistant Referee : C N Harwood
Assistant Referee : P C Martin

Fourth Official : J A Sheffield

Richard Beeby started refereeing in Northampton and progressed through the feeder leagues before being promoted to the national list of referees in 1999. He refereed the 2004 Division Two Play-Off final between Brighton and Hove Albion and Bristol City.

This season - 29 games, 76 Yellows and 8 Reds.

Beeby was the referee who took charge of our 2-0 away defeat to Blackpool on April 1st. If you remember back to that game he only showed two yellow cards.  One was to Ian Roper (Who could have easily seen red) and the other yellow was given to Player of the Season Anthony Gerrard.

The referee mainly officiates in the Championship but occasionally takes charge of Premiership and League One games.
