Preston North End have announced that Eric Skora has joined Walsall on a months loan. Skora who is a 23 year old Frenchman, joined Preston in 2001 from French club Nancy. He spent last season on loan at Kilmarnock where he played 18 times scoring 3 goals. In over 40 league games for Preston he has failed to score but he does have one in each the League Cup and FA cup.

Skora will go straight into the side to face Gillingham tomorrow. He is comfortable using both feet and can play anywhere along the midfield if asked, however i believe his perfurred position is centre midfield. This is a direct replacement signing for the now departed Paul Smith. Merson identified Skora as the man he wanted to add pressence to the midfield and to have a box to box midfielder.

Preston fans never really took to Skora so this is a good chance for the Frenchmen to re-start his English Career.
