Pre-season dates have been announced for Aston Villa and Birmingham City. With both sides expected to bring a large following to Bescot, the Blues will be the first visitors on July 28th. Then on the Tuesday before the season starts Aston Villa will make their now annual pre-season visit.
Last season Villa came to Walsall in protest mode, O'Leary had just departed and the Ellis OUT campaign was in full drive. This season they are likely to visit with a new squad worth of stars ready to challenge at the right end of the table.
Other games Waslall have arranged include visits to see former players Jonny Harkness and James Constable at Kidderminster Harriers, while we have also agreed to travel to Burton Albion.
