Premiership trio after Coventry's Dann and Fox

After weekend press linked Scott Dann and Daniel Fox with moves away from the Ricoh Arena, just months after joining; today another newspaper has printed the story.

It's only the Daily Star who are not known for the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth but this link might just have something to it?

Both players are said to have been the subject of repeated reports of interest by numerous Premier League clubs with Wigan, Bolton and Sunderland leading the chase.

Coventry are just one point above the Championship relegation zone and new Chairman Ray Ranson has already come out to squash the sale talk.

"They are not for sale, end of story," Ranson told the Coventry Telegraph. "It wouldn't surprise me if they are attracting interest but we have made a lot of decisions on staff for next year and we are looking to recruit, not sell.

"We are building a talented young side and for anyone to suggest we are looking to sell our best players just doesn't stack up."

With the season yet to come to a conclusion this is one story that is not likely to go away. It will be interesting to see if Coventry can hang onto the pair once bids start coming in.

It is believed Fox left for straight cash in January however Scott Dann has a sell on, which will see Walsall recieve a proportion of any transfer fee the Sky Blues may get.
