Port Vale pull away as MK lose game in hand - League Table

Last updated : 05 April 2006 By Andy Van Hagen
Last night Port Vale comfortably beat MK Dons 3-1. The result pushes Vale up into 15th place and 51 points. It now seems that Gillingham/16th upwards are safe and Bournemouth/17th down are the relegation dog fighters.

MK Dons meanwhile has missed out on the chance to come within striking distance of the teams directly above them. The loss leaves them 5 points adrift of Swindon Town/23rd, 6 points behind ourselves/22nd and 7 points adrift from safety - Hartlepool/20th
