Poll Result - Would you welcome Merson back as a player?

Paul Merson was always a figure that divided Walsall fans straight down the middle. Now he has left the club nothing has changed.
In a poll launched on Friday night, it was a very close finish right to the end. I must admit however the results were not what i would have predicted.
Over a hundred fans voted this weekend and only 3.1% separated the YES and NO groupings

12.1% sat on the fence but a large proportion of the Bescot crowd believe that Paul Merson can add something to our survival fight, while presumably believing his return would not effect the squad morale or the new managers performance.
You would think that in a new managers eyes Walsall would be a less attractive proposition with the former manager still on the books. It will be harder to change the culture of the club with such a strong influence still hanging around.
