Perpetuini gets a club

David PurpleTweenie has resigned for Stevenage Borough on non-contract terms.  He turned down a contract offer from us in the last week of last season.  He then spent the summer trying to get fixed up somewhere else.  He failed to find himself a league club so signed a deal with Stevenage.  They then decided they couldnt afford him so released him.  Again, he has spent the last month looking for a club but with no success.  He has signed on a non-contract basis with Stevenage in a bid to put himself in the shop window.

Do you think he now regrets rejecting our deal in May!!?  Thats the trouble in todays game, players cannot afford to hold out for too much as they are no longer able to command the sort of wages they were at this level a couple of seasons ago!
