The arrival of Holmes meant Paul Hall's route to first team football became more competitive. Already on the fringes Hall just wants to play games at this stage of his career. You have to respect his wishes and we thank him for his second stint at the club where with no disrespect he has definately contributed more off-the-pitch than on. A great figure to have in the squad he will be a honest addition to Brian Little's Wrexham as they battle avoid relegation. Hall will of course be playing under the manager who really got the best out of him at Tranmere Rovers. Little will be hoping he can reproduce that form with his new club being six points away from safety in League Two.

Another boost for the club on Friday was the announcement of Richard Taundry's new contract. This will see him under contract until the summer of 2010 in what must have been a fantastic award for the Waslall fan.
