After the on-loan arrival of Kevin Harper from Stoke City, Richard Money is freeing up funds within his budget.

Young striker Alex Nicholls has been loaned out to local Conference promotion challengers Burton Albion. Nicholls is looking to get back on track after the dissappointment of breaking his leg at the end of last season. Richard Money believes the time is not right to introduce the player to the first team at this period of time, so this spell away from Bescot will do the player the world of good.

Nicholls broke into the first team last season and is full of running. He regularly finds the net for the reserves and hopefully he can produce form similar to that James Constable found while on loan at Kidderminster Harriers.

Richard Money has also indicated he is looking to bring more quality into our squad. The official site www.saddlers.co.uk is saying up to three more new faces could be in place by the weekend.  Also with Money saying now is the time for experience, i'd imagine a few of our youngsters loaned out to get some experience of their own.

An exciting few days for Walsall fans!
