Oakes set for recall at Barnsley

Andy Oakes will make his first first team appearance since September 10th on Saturday as Walsall travel up to Oakwell. Joe Murphy misses out as he has not been granted permission by parent club Sunderland to play in FA Cup games. Rene Gilmartin who has filled in for Murphy in previous rounds will be on the substitutes bench.
Oakes had been out of action for 3 months with a wrist injury but despite being fit for the last 3 weeks he has not been able to make a first team return because of the form Murphy has been showing. Oakes will be looking to give Merson a massive selection problem for the Colchester game by putting in a match winning performance.
