No new striker before Bournemouth

Speaking to the Birmingham Evening Mail Kevan Broadhurst is saying that signing a new striker is a main priority but, it will not happen before Saturdays match against Bournemouth.

"No-one will come in before then" said manager Kevan Broadhurst. "We need to address the goals-for tally because it speaks for itself. Our leading goal scorer has two goals in the league. Ive made some enquiries but its the most difficult area of the squad to fill. Clubs dont let strikers go".

Any new striker will be in the form of a loan deal or a permanent signing of a currently unattached player. Walsall already have 6 loan players at the club and only 5 can be part of the match day squad.

Also in the newspaper is a very interesting piece about Kevans job to turn Walsall around.
