New vote on Walsall MAD - Should we be playing Bury on Bank Holiday Monday?

Last updated : 31 August 2009 By Andy Van Hagen
Walsall host Bury in the JPT on Tuesday night for a game which will attract a slim crowd.

For the fixture only the F2GO Lower tier and main stand will be open. Season Ticket Holders have until 5pm on Tuesday to get free entry to the game.

Paying spectators will see a reduction in admission:

£6 (adults),

£3 (juniors 16 - 18),

£3 (senior citizens over 60),

FREE for under-16's who are accompanied by a full-paying adult.

However Walsall MAD asks should the game have been played on Bank Holiday Monday with a 3pm kick off to attract a bigger crowd and more spectators to take advantage of the offers? Bury fans in particular could have travelled down to the fixture in bigger numbers. We could have had more fans .... more atmosphere!! It's better for the sponsors, better for the clubs and better for the fans!?

The vote takes on the walsall-mad homepage.  August Bank Holiday used to see regular fixtures in the football calendar and on today on Bank Holiday Monday the Banks's Stadium is empty!

Should we have looked into having the JPT game Vs Bury played on Bank Hol Monday?
1)Yes
2)No
