The clear winner was Burton Albion manager Nigel Clough with 27.9% of the vote. Jeff Bonser has since announced that Walsall will NOT be approaching a manager who is currently in employment so it looks like Walsall will be looking elsewhere.
In second place was ex-Walsall manager Chris Nicholl who could be named the new manager later today??
