Money soon to be Picken New Zealand ace?

Allan Picken has made enormous progress in his recovery from injury. Since arriving in the summer he has been limited to 117 minutes of football this season.

Despite being unfit he was forced to play in the season opener at Rochdale because of Chris Westwood's suspension . He impressed but then had a spell on the sidelines. We then had to wait until our September home fixture against Macclesfield to see him in action again.

It was revealed that the player had a 'foreign body' in his leg and this has since been removed. The player has built up his fitness over the last month and has been reported to have really benefitted from the clubs training trip to Gran Canaria last week.

Whilst not being considered fit enough for first team action, he is expected to play some part in our Birmingham Senior Cup tie at Boldmere St.Michaels on Tuesday evening.
