Michael Ricketts has completed a three-month loan switch from Oldham Athletic to Walsall.

Ricketts only moved to Boundary Park in the summer and the move has been seen as a surprise to some given Ricketts started Oldham's game against Northampton last weekend.

However, he found himself dropped for Tuesday night's draw at Nottingham Forest and has now been shipped out the club where he started his career and who also tried to sign him in the summer.

Ricketts last played for Walsall in our 2-0 defeat at Birmingham City, 24th April 2000.
