Tonight Bescot Stadium hosts the Finals of Miss Birmingham 2006. As readers will probably know, Walsall MAD has been following the progress of two finalists - Laura Butlin and Hayley Selway (for interviews see related articles, bottom of page).
In the current Text vote (standings viewable at

I can reveal that Hayley Selway is just leading the standings. She is 5 points clear of her nearest rival and 6 points clear of 3rd place.
Laura Butlin is also doing very well in the text vote. She is 6th place, which is very respectable indeed.
