Miss Birmingham Finals tonight at Bescot

Tonight Bescot Stadium hosts the Finals of Miss Birmingham 2006. As readers will probably know, Walsall MAD has been following the progress of two finalists - Laura Butlin and Hayley Selway (for interviews see related articles, bottom of page).

In the current Text vote (standings viewable at http://www.midlandevents.co.uk/bham-vote-2006.htm).

I can reveal that Hayley Selway is just leading the standings. She is 5 points clear of her nearest rival and 6 points clear of 3rd place.

Laura Butlin is also doing very well in the text vote. She is 6th place, which is very respectable indeed.
