That will keep me active at the moment" - This statement comes as a surprise as the club indicated that the club owned the rights to this but i think its a joint venture between Jeff Bonser and Paul Merson.

It was painful hearing the fans booing, but that comes with the teritory" - Its good to see him not giving excuses. It shows he has learnt from his time in management.
"Merson wants another crack at management, but, at 38 next month he would settle for a playing contract ...Im two weeks away from full fitness and then I'd like to go and play wherever someone wants me. I dont care what level. I just love football"
He comes across well in the interview and sounds like he just knows he has to keep himself active to keep away his demons.
