Merson Hints at BIG Double Sale

Paul Merson has hinted that Julian Bennett and Matty Fratt may both be sold before the end of the transfer window. Julian Bennett has been the target of interest this week from one un-named club. Wolves, Crewe and his home town club Notting Forest have all been linked with the defender of late. Merson may be reluctant to sell Bennett but the prospect of a large bid will be too much to resist as his transfer window business must be funded somehow. His targets might increase in stature as his budget grows.

Fryatt is currently injured and many Walsall fans were led to believe he would be sold off in the summer. Merson has now prepared fans for his a quicker departure of our home grown striking talent. The list of suitors for Matty may be very long indeed. At the moment Preston must be rated amongst the favourites to secure his signiture but they are just one club in a long line at this stage.
