The 27-year-old striker has joined the Saddlers until the end of the season with a view to securing a longer deal at The Bescot.

"This is a terrific opportunity for me and naturally one I want to take," he said.

"You could say Colin Lee has got his man because he was manager at Wolves when he first enquired about me after our win in the Worthington Cup at Molineux.

"They have eight games left and need to win two of them for safety and if I do well in those matches I can earn a contract for next season. It's all down to me really.

"When Colin Lee told me he wanted me to link up with Paul Merson it was exciting but I will miss Wycombe.

"It is a great club and I shall be very sorry to leave here. When I signed from Oxford City it was the best decision of my life and I have enjoyed every moment here."
