Richard started refereeing in Northampton and progressed through the feeder leagues before being promoted to the national list of referees in 1999. He refereed the 2004 Division Two Play-Off final between Brighton and Hove Albion and Bristol City.
Beeby has refereed at every level this season ranging from The Premiership to League Two. In the 24 games he has taken charge of he has shown 60 yellow cards and 6 reds, which isnt bad really. He is a referee that likes to let the game flow, as the stats show he isn't a card happy ref. Shockingly 6 yellows and 4 reds all came in the fixture between Burnley and Millwall back in November.
